Kaleidoglide Survives a Year: Readers Groan In Anticipation of More

This blog has existed exactly a year now. I’m not sure what one says on these occasions: “Thank you for enduring me” might be appropriate in most other contexts, but the whole point of blogging is that you have no choice but to endure me. Or perhaps “it’s nice to have met you”, except I haven’t. Some of you, yes. Many of you are amazing, and your names are in that little space at the side, and I’m probably very fond of you.

I’m not even sure why this should be celebrated at all. When I started this blog it was because I’d been invited to join CSF and I thought while I’d signed up for blogger I might as well have a blog. I am still constantly confused as to what goes here on this blog and what belongs on my (far more personal) LiveJournal. I’m not used to having to talk to an audience, however small that audience may appear to be. I’ve had one anonymous reader tell me he was a huge fan, only to find out that my name had confused him and he thought I was a stunningly beautiful woman with green eyes. (I’m not, by the way.) I certainly haven’t changed the world with this, nor did I expect to. It’s been fun, and will hopefully continue to be so. At least until I get a life.;)
Blogger has introduced me to some great people (*waves at great people*) and this is always a Very Good Thing. For a blog that started out on a note of “bleh…might as well” I think it’s done quite well.

So since I have nothing remotely exciting to say, I shall allow you to ask me questions. What would you like to know? What would you like me to write about? Requests, please.
